Baojue Temple is located on Jianxing Road in Taichung City. It is a spacious and quiet place for meditation and learning. The temple is a drum tower-style building. The temple is famous for its Friendship Bell Tower, Qibao Pagoda and Maitreya Buddha statue. There is a garden square in front of the Big Buddha. The square used to display an ancient coal locomotive, which has now been moved to Taichung Folk Park. In addition to the grand scenery of the courtyard, Baojue Temple also often holds scripture lectures, fasting conferences, and publishes monthly magazines. It is a monastery with a strong cultural and educational style.
