Heping Island Park

A good place to visit to learn and understand about natural rocks formation. The rocks here are formed naturally by sea water and wind. All rocks will look different overtime and it is up to your imagination on what the rock looks like. There are schedule guided tour here. Have to book a slot at the tourist centre.

Heping Island Park is located in Keelung, walking distance from the Rainbow Pier about 15-20 minutes. You can buy tickets on the event or buy it online. Getting there is not difficult, take Tra from taipei main station to keelung and cross the road to get on the bus. 101-106 and walk for about 5 minutes, suitable for relaxing by the sea.

It closes to famous Zhengbin port color houses in Keelung. Taking bus or walk 15 mins to the park. There is walking trail along the mountain with ocean view. Stunning atmosphere with natural sculptures from the sea and you can swim in large pool next to the sea. High recommended.

From the round-the-mountain trail, you can overlook the strange rocks, pig head rock, human face sphinx rock, seal rock, bullet fish rock, sea rabbit rock, 10,000 people pile, etc. The tourist service center is like a small castle, complete with functions. The second floor is the island dining car, Lepin Xitang, Blue Food·Yujing and the second floor Xiaoyu. The first floor selection store is based on the theme of symbiosis and sells a variety of cultural and creative goods.
