Living in the dormitory back street - Liaoning Street Night Market. After a day's visit, I can feel the authentic Taipei snacks, which are mostly visited by nearby residents. It is more reliable than Shilin night market which is similar to Wangfujing snack street.
This is the third night market after Taiwanese arrival. Compared with Shilin night market, Ningxia night market is relatively small. There are no imaginary, dense stalls and tourists. But according to time, it is said that it is older than Shilin night market, and it is closer to living. And it eats a lot, because some of the older shops are delicious and cheap. There are many handsome boys and beautiful women. Haha, after walking a long way into a shop, the shopkeeper is really very enthusiastic, spicy fried is very cheap, seemingly 100 pieces a plate, ordered iron clams, taste better than imagined, feel that compared to other night markets, the taste here is more authentic. Later, I went to other stores, papaya milk, large intestine, duck blood stinky tofu and so on, and so on, a lot of food, not enough.
Liaoning Street is less than meters in length and not very vast in area, but it has dense stores and operates all day. The night market here is mini-type, but the stalls in the night market have business licenses and are neatly arranged. Most of the things sold here are mainly food, such as Daddy Oyster, Kendley Chicken Steak and so on.
Not many tourists come to this night market. The main restaurants nearby are local seafood restaurants and Taiwanese dishes. There are many snack stands in the street. The lighting decoration is Japanese. In this night market without major renovation, it feels refreshing.
This night market is not as famous as Ximending, Liuhe, but it opens early. Some of them start from noon till evening. People are mainly office workers. On the contrary, there are not so many tourists. However, there are many choices. The price will be more close to the people and local. This place will be more suitable for foraging.
Liaoning Street and Night Market has a lot of good places to visit. There are some small shops and the night market will open late. I like to eat salt crisp chicken and fried chicken. So when I came here, I couldn't help but have a big appetite. However, the recent appreciation of the Taiwanese dollar is not as cheap as before.
There are many small restaurants and stalls on the street. Especially after nightfall, they are very busy. There are also many cafes in nearby streets and alleys. They are suitable for sitting in the evening. They have Taiwanese characteristics. The restaurants around them have a high cost performance ratio.
