About Taoyuan

Taoyuan is located in the northwest of Taiwan, neighboring New Taipei City, Hsinchu City, and Yilan County. It is one of the six “special municipalities” in Taiwan. Taoyuan's famous local specialties include Subaozhai cakes, Yuquan fine red wine, the dried bean curd of Treasure Classic Tofu Master, Yuejing gift boxes, aged red tofu, Lala Mountain peaches, and Taoyuan Pengfeng tea. Among its famous attractions are Daxi Old Street, Daxi Mausoleum, Cihu, and Shihmen Dam.

The Xiaorenguo Theme Park is a rare multi-cultural park in Taiwan that presents world-renowned buildings in a scaled-down manner. From the Forbidden City, the Statue of Liberty, and the statue of the African lion, there are more than a hundred sets of world-famous architectural models.
