Ganquan Temple was founded in the tenth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty. In the thirteenth year of Guangxu, some believers expressed that the gods instructed that the spring water at the place where Shiguanyin was found could cure all diseases, so the temple was changed to "Ganquan Temple", and the place where the spring was located was changed to "Ganquan Temple". It is called "Guanyin Spring". Ganquan Temple has undergone many constructions. Today, Ganquan Well is located in the park on the left side of the temple. The spring water is clear and sweet. Many believers come to ask for spring water. Those who ask for spring water must hold a cup from Guanyin Buddha to obtain the spring water.
