The Sipadan Island is a famous dive spot in Sabah. It is formed by a deep-sea island. The under-water part of the island is shaped like a chimney reaching the sky from the seabed. There are over 3,000 varieties of fishes, and hundreds of types of corals in this area. It is also noted for a number of green turtles and hawksbill turtles living here. Divers should not miss the sea caves here filled with colorful coral and special fishes. In the turtle caves in the northern Sipadan Island, you can find a stock of silver hypostomus punctatus, the soldier fish and the glowfish.

From Tawau to Deyuan Coco Manor, about 45 minutes. Here you can learn more about Coco's production process, visit the Coco House, and a 75-foot waterfall and columnar basalt with 27,000 years of history. All trips need to be booked in advance, with a professional guide to lead the tour. You must wear suitable shoes in the waterfall area. You will see many small waterfalls along the way. The trails will grow like moss because of the long-term flow of water. It is very slippery. Try not to step on it. Bring anti-mosquito and sunscreen. At the end of the trail there is a column of stones, they are basalt stones 27,000 years ago. Basalt is a dense or foamy structure of rock that is solidified by the volcanic eruption of magma. In this gorge, they record the volcanic movements of the earth many years ago and have to sigh the wonders of nature. So I suggest that you go to the waterfall area and try not to go down to the water pool. There will be water scorpions (grasshoppers) to suck blood, or wear foot-up shoes. Everyone has been hungry from the waterfall, and the staff has prepared meals for everyone. Every dish here uses cocoa as raw material, cocoa noodles, cocoa banana rolls, cocoa shrimp rolls, cocoa jelly and so on. Of course, my best thing is still cocoa. They say that cocoa is generally not eaten directly, and is processed into a drink or chocolate. The boss opened a cocoa fruit for us to try. In fact, the taste is very similar to that of mangosteen. It will feel a touch of chocolate in the mouth, but it is the sweetness of the fruit. The estate also has an observation deck that is ideal for taking pictures.

After a day's journey, we finally arrived in Tawau Town. Although this is just a transit point to Semporna, we decided to stay here for a day and take a break. Promenade Hotel Chinese is the Tawau Kaicheng Hotel. It takes about half an hour to drive from the airport. The tour guide told us that it is the tallest building in Tawau. The exterior of the hotel is very stylish and has an underground car park. It is usually necessary to check in at 2 pm, and if you arrive in advance, you can leave your luggage at the front desk for free. The concealment of the hotel is very good, the elevator needs to brush the room card to reach the room floor. The hotel can also book a massage service. Next to the hotel is a small shopping mall, there is a supermarket on the first floor, snacks, shampoo, shower gel and other daily necessities can be bought, very convenient. Our room is facing the sea and the space is very spacious. The room is central air conditioning, wifi signal is good. The bedding is clean and comfortable, there is a TV at the end of the bed, and the bed has a socket and a light control switch, which is very convenient. There is a wardrobe in the room and there is no safe. Two free bottles of mineral water are provided daily. The bathroom is very clean, the bathroom is separate, there is a bath product with a simple fit and a toothpaste toothbrush, and a hair dryer. Although the hotel is not luxurious, the facilities are relatively simple, but in a small town like Tawau, the price and comfort of such a spacious and comfortable hotel is already very high. Located on the 7th floor of the hotel, the restaurant offers Western and Malay-style buffets. The outdoor balcony has a wide view and is a great place to watch the sunset.
