Tehran Golestan Palace
Built in 1865, it has 17 palaces, museums, and other buildings. It is the oldest historical site in Tehran, the capital of Iran, and the most important sightseeing spot in our Tehran trip. Therefore, we arrange more time because the collections inside are very rich and need to be appreciated slowly.
The entrance to the palace is behind a garden full of roses, so Golestan Palace is also known as the Rose Garden or Rose Palace.

Tehran Grand Bazaar Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The Bazaar in Tehran does not have to go, it is a wholesale product, the enthusiasm for shopping is absolutely not used here, and it is very easy to encounter salty pigs.
I was deeply hurt. In just two or three minutes, I was caught in the butt on the street outside the Grand Bazaar twice. The skill of the two techniques seems to be a habit! In the few seconds that I passed by, I could accurately grasp the buttocks and pinch it up. I almost cried on the street. Later, the little friend let me go ahead, he protected me behind, but even this is still the second time!
Last partner summary: This is because my headscarf has slipped down and the skirt is too short (I wear long skirts and ankle boots! When I walk, I see two or three centimeters of ankles at the top!) Looks like a woman. The women were so caught up by the salted pigs.
I still suspect that he is pinching!
Therefore, I would like to advise you to have a baotou towel and remember to use a clip to hold it firmly; the lower body should be worn tightly; it is best to wear a black robe. Of course, this refers to the business district in the Grand Bazaar in Tehran.

Iran Tehran-Shanghai
Day 6
Arrive in Shanghai at 11 o'clock in the morning~
This is a very suitable itinerary at present. I went earlier, and the Dizin ski resort has not yet opened, so I replaced the part about the Dizin ski resort with the Darbandsar Ski Resort! This ski resort is farther from the city, not as big as Dizin, and there are not as many snow trails as Dizin~ But it's also fun!
🏨About the hotel
The Dizin ski resort comes with a Dizin hotel, which can Ski In & Ski Out. It's very convenient~ If you go to Darbandsar Ski Resort like me, you can stay at the Meygoon Hotel in Darbandsar town.
Stay in Tehran: Espinas Palace Hotel Tehran. The location is very good, close to Darakeh, National Jewels Museum and The Mausoleum and Tomb of Imam Zade Saleh.
✈️About the flight
Departing from Shanghai and Guangzhou, you can take the direct flight of Mahan Air, which is very convenient. The price is not expensive~
💰About the cost
Skiing in Iran is really cheap, I will share the price of the ski resort I went to.
Darbandsar ski resort snow ticket:
Non-weekend regular ticket: 12 US dollars/person
Weekend regular ticket: 15 US dollars/person
Non-weekend VIP ticket: 50 US dollars/person
Weekend VIP ticket: 65 US dollars/person
🍜About food
Iran's special meals include lamb neck, grilled fish and lamb chops, about 10-15 US dollars per person/meal. The taste is very suitable for us.
The biggest feature of this itinerary is that two nights are spent on the plane, which can save skiing time and also save two nights of accommodation money, which is super cost-effective. The total cost is less than 10,000 per person~
Carpet Museum of Iran Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
[Iran] Persian carpet! Be sure to visit the Tehran Carpet Museum
came to Iran, out of the beauty outside the Persian carpet is the main event you must not miss. The history of Persian carpets can be traced back two thousand years ago. Pure hand-made, natural mineral dyeing makes Persian carpets still bright and colorful for centuries.
The Persian carpet is integrated into the ancient Persian civilization. It is already a work of art. It came to the carpet museum in the center of Tehran to see the rare carpets displayed hundreds of years ago, representing different parts of Iran in different periods. At the highest level, each piece is marked with the designer's name. In addition to the common geometric flower patterns, there are many themed portrait-type rugs, even the aristocratic daily life scenes, and the three-dimensional embossed weaving process, so complicated. The ultimate craftsmanship is incredible.
[Walk tips]
Can't bring a bag to enter, there is a place to store at the door.
The camera is not allowed to shoot with the camera, but there are very few people, so I recorded some with my mobile phone.
There is a gift shop at the exit, in addition to carpets, there are many handmade items! It is highly recommended to buy a miniature [carpet weaving machine], which is very delicate, the price is RMB100-200, A4 paper size, it is very suitable for buying or giving gifts~
Relative to Southeast Asian countries, Iranian tourists are really rare. This may be because everyone has heard the media (especially the Western media) saying that Iran is a dangerous country full of terrorists. In fact, Iran is one of the best countries I have ever been to.
Whether it is from the long history of the country or the friendliness of the people, Iran is at the forefront of travel countries. If you have never been to the Middle East, I really recommend that you use Iran as your first stop. The
Persian rug is known worldwide for its exquisite craftsmanship, and you can buy quality carpets in the Grand Bazaar in Isfahan. If you want to know more, check out the Iranian National Carpet Museum in Tehran. The famous ancient carpet museum houses more than 5,000 precious carpets collected from all over Iran. The piles of gems, diamonds and rare jewellery in the
Tehran National Treasures Museum will surely sway you! The world's largest uncut rubies, the largest pink diamonds and globes made entirely of gems .
As a native religion originating from Iran, Yazd is a holy place for worshipping fire. The Silent Tower is the best choice for understanding the burial of the heavens and the sacredness of religion. Follow the camel team in the desert of central Iran (around Yazd), riding a camel to look at the ancient villages in the distance and the abandoned wind towers, leaving the city behind and feeling the feeling of crossing.
Azadi Tower Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The Iranian Freedom Memorial Tower is magnificent and innovative. The memorial tower was completed in October 1971. The bottom of the tower is a museum and a movie hall. The film hall can accommodate 500 spectators, and five film machines are simultaneously screened on a spacious screen. The main content of the film is Iran's long history, splendid culture, mountains and rivers and historical sites. This is a place where tourists gather. If you want to watch a movie, you often have to wait in line to buy tickets. From the bottom of the tower, hovering along with the 275-level stone steps, you can reach the observation deck at the top of the tower. Standing on the observatory, looking around, the splendid ancient buildings, wide and straight boulevards, starting from the train station in the south of the city, crossing the old city and the new city to the north.
Tehran Bazaar Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
On the journey, besides enjoying the scenery, I prefer to visit the local markets.
🎆Actually, besides sightseeing and visiting historical sites, I quite enjoy strolling around local markets or grocery stores during my travels. In my opinion, these places are always the most down-to-earth parts of a city.
🎆Here, I can see the living conditions of the lowest level of people in a city, who are struggling but also enjoying the pleasures of life. They exchange the most basic labor for their family's needs, a simple meal, and the joy of being together with their loved ones.
🎆Here, I can taste the most authentic local cuisine of a city, such as drinking milk tea with locals in a small tea shop and eating hand-pulled rice at a street vendor in Varanasi, India, buying plums for 3-4 yuan per kilogram at a market in Sevastopol, and tasting chickpea rice for less than five yuan at a market in Damascus. However, in the market in Lebanon, I had to spend more than 30 yuan to buy a meat roll.
🎆Here, I can also encounter the rivers and lakes of a city. In the markets of Iran, passionate people will always offer you food. In the markets of Cairo, Egypt, you will always encounter cheap things that will rip you off. And in the markets of Jordan, you always have to bargain for half an hour with the Bedouin people to buy a handmade carpet.
🎆Yes! There are many such moments in my travels. They may not be as stunning as the scenery, but they are often overlooked by many travelers. Yet, they are the most vibrant part of a city, don't you think so?
