Childhood Biscuits and Snacks
Johor Bahru City Square, MF-12, Level 3, 106-108, Jalan Wong Ah Fook, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia
When I was young, every time my relatives came back from Malaysia, they would definitely buy a lot of Malaysian local snacks for us. I do remember when I first saw the rope biscuit. I love it from the very first moment when I bite it. It is crispy and floury.
Subsequently, during my secondary days, my school brought us on a peranakan trip to Malacca. Again we were brought to the local confectionery factory to do some shopping. I have purchased the rope biscuit. From the shop I get to know more about Malaysia's other locally made snacks such as the chestnut biscuits, the chicken Biscuits, and the wife biscuit. The chicken biscuit has since been my favourite as it is crispy and sweet in taste. Once you have your first bite, you won't stop eating another one.
