M43***62Stonehenge is wonderful, of course it is, how can it not be. The stones are majestic and awe inspiring even in December. But is the trip up to the stones, walking round and back again worth the price they charge. No it really isn't, the first time I went pre this new visitor centre, it was humble but affordable and did everything it needed. The new visitor centre does not add the value that English heritage seem to think it does.
