A huge seated Buddha, very impressive, but you need to find a good shooting position.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Khao San Road night market
A tourist gathering area, similar to the ancient city pedestrian streets in China. Very lively.
Eat:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Jae Ngor's Kitchen
The curry crab is a must-try, and other dishes are also good. Highly recommended.

For these nine pictures, a college student went to Thailand alone
Recently, Thailand has been visa-free, so I found a weekend plus Monday to take a short vacation for a few days.
Although it's only three days, I took a lot of satisfactory photos. Bangkok is a crazy and interesting city
The Buddha statues all over the street, the friendly locals, the backpackers of different skin colors, and the terrible traffic are the impressions Bangkok left me.
Share the locations of these 9 pictures to facilitate everyone to check in
1⃣️Lad ya 8: The classic position of the Big Buddha in the Water Gate Temple, with a strong visual shock. A few years ago, I was full of longing for Bangkok because of this scene. Now I finally realized my wish to check in here. (200mm lens + cropping)
2⃣️Oppsite Bangkok Polytechnic College: Locate this bus station, you can take a picture of the big swing, with a small aperture and a large depth of field, to fully reflect the messy wires and crowded traffic in Bangkok.
3⃣️Bamrung Mueang Rd: A small road full of Buddha statues for sale, which looks very interesting, can be checked in with 2⃣️
4⃣️5⃣️Golden Mountain Temple: A relatively niche temple, almost no one, picture four is in the temple at the foot of the mountain, picture five is overlooking the whole city of Bangkok after climbing the golden mountain, you can see the famous Zheng Wang Temple. Can be checked in with 2⃣️3⃣️.
6⃣️Mahathat Temple: The treasure city around Bangkok, the big city government, the most famous is the scene of the tree hugging Buddha's head (specific strategies can be seen in the previous article)
7⃣️Chinatown: The signs in Chinatown are colorful and very beautiful, and there are many street foods worth trying, but it seems that there is some festival recently, and many banners have been hung
8⃣️Japan Street: Locate to thaniya, the neon lights all over the street are very beautiful for taking pictures, as if you are in the streets of Japan, there are some adult projects soliciting customers on the roadside, and I dare not take pictures..
9⃣️Zheng Wang Temple: My favorite one among all the temples in Bangkok, the white pagoda is very different, and it has a dreamy feeling
Popular Bangkok Travel Attractions | Temple of King Zheng
Temple of King Zheng🏯 (Wat Arun), also known as the Temple of the Dawn, is a temple commemorating the 41st🤴🏻 king of Thailand, the national hero Zheng Zhao.
The Temple of King Zheng, which was built during the Ayutthaya Dynasty, still shines brightly⭐, leaving many visitors deeply shocked. If you are just visiting, you can usually finish in about an hour🕧. If there is any suggestion for visiting the Temple of King Zheng, it is to remember to take pictures📷. The bright colors of the Temple of King Zheng's architecture are really a pity if you don't take pictures.
❣️For a day trip, it is recommended to pair it with the Grand Palace and nearby small temples for a more fulfilling experience!

The Grand Palace Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Admirable National treasure of Thailand 🇹🇭
#cherryblossom2024
The most revered national treasure of Thailand is the Jade Buddha statue in the Grand Palace. 🛕
Visit The Grand Palace. The most worth seeing is the emerald green jade Buddha statue in the Jade Buddha Hall, which is 66cm high. A total of three sets of clothing were customized for the Jade Buddha. In February, they wore cool clothing and golden thread clothing draped over the Buddha's body.
Photography 📸 is not allowed inside the main hall. You can sit down and worship the Buddha, but your toes should not be facing the Buddha statue.🌸
The exterior walls of the main hall are covered with stained glass panels, shining brightly in the sunlight. The porcelain pieces come from Jingdezhen, China. Many of the porcelain pieces inlaid on the exterior of buildings were shipped from China and were broken during long-dist ance transportation. To avoid waste, they were used as decorations in the form of broken porcelain pieces.
The corridor is filled with gold leaf paintings 🖼️ , depicting the complex story of the king reclaiming the beautiful queen 🫅 from the hands of demons.

The most intuitive place to feel the wealth of the Thai royal family is the Grand Palace
The Grand Palace is the palace of the Thai royal family. It was built in 1782 and has been expanded and renovated by generations of kings to its current scale. The Grand Palace has obvious Siamese architectural features, it is magnificent and has national characteristics, and it is called the 'encyclopedia of Thai art'.
In 1992, the Thai government funded the construction of the Thai Buddha Garden in Luoyang White Horse Temple, which is a condensed essence of Thai architecture represented by the Bangkok Grand Palace.
The Grand Palace covers a huge area and includes two parts for touring: the Jade Buddha Temple and the Grand Palace. The tourist entrance is at the Jade Buddha Temple.
🇹🇭Jade Buddha Temple
Named after the jade Buddha enshrined in the temple, the temple is located in the northeast corner of the Grand Palace, about a quarter of the size of the Grand Palace. It is one of the three national treasures of Thailand, the guardian temple of the Chakri Dynasty, and the national temple.
The jade Buddha is enshrined in the main hall, it is carved from real jade, 66 cm high and 48 cm wide. It was a treasure that was fought over by many countries. After being discovered in Chiang Rai in 1434, it has been enshrined in the Jade Buddha Temple.
There are seven pairs of fairy statues on the high platform of the Jade Buddha Temple. The upper body of the lioness fairy is a woman, and the lower body is a lion; the upper body of the golden Nara is a man, and the lower body is a bird.
Each door in the temple has a six-meter-high guardian Yaksha, holding a Dharma sword, which is very spectacular.
There are also three pagodas to the north of the main hall: a pure Thai-style scripture library, a Sri Lankan-style golden relic pagoda, and a royal ancestral temple built by Rama IV.
The model of Angkor Wat is a collection of Rama III, and you can still see the appearance of Angkor Wat when it was complete from this huge model.
There are 178 paintings in the corridor of the Jade Buddha Temple, which were painted during the period of Rama I, telling a mythological story of good people defeating bad people.
🇹🇭Grand Palace
The main building is four palaces, with the roof in the Thai characteristic three-top structure, lined up in a row, with green ceramic tile ridges, purple and red glazed tile roofs, and pointed phoenix head flying eaves. But these main buildings are not open to the public.
Chakri Palace is the largest main hall in the Grand Palace, with three floors, built by Rama V in 1876. The initial design was a Western-style building, but because it felt a bit abrupt among a group of Thai buildings, a traditional Thai roof was added later.
🇹🇭Grand Palace (The Grand Palace)
Address: Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang, Phra Nakhon Bangkok 10200
Opening hours: 8:30-15:30
Ticket: 500 baht/person (cash or card can be used)
The dress code in the Grand Palace is strict, please be sure to comply
Do not hire wild tour guides at the door, easy to be deceived
Photography is prohibited in the main hall, and you need to take off your shoes and hats when entering

Bangkok's Iconic Mall
#bangkoktrip #iconsiam #thailand #shopping
This is one of Bangkok's most luxurious and beautiful malls I have seen. The sixth floor is truly amazing with the natural elements and waterfall display. You should also check out the bar on the balcony and don't forget the floating market on the lower floor.
This mall will leave you stunned.
You can reach iconsiam using the BTS (hop off at Saphan Taksim) and then get on a boat ride across Chao Priya River. The long tail shuttle boat only costs 10 baht per person.

Patong Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Official announcement of permanent visa exemption! Enter summer in a second! This hot island that is only 4 hours away by direct flight~
Phuket is very familiar to everyone, the three major beaches here are Patong Beach, Karon Beach, and Kata Beach, which are crowded with all kinds of tourists. Although the three major beaches are beautiful, they are too noisy for those seeking tranquility. In fact, many other beaches in Phuket are also worth visiting!
For example, Mai Khao Beach, which has the longest coastline in Phuket, where you can quietly walk and enjoy the romantic sunset! It does not have the commercialization and vanity of the three major beaches, but it is full of vitality, small crabs, sea turtles, and the sea breeze are all evidence of the never-ending summer!
✈️Preparation before departure: passport, printed wine order, phone card, UnionPay savings card, carry cash 2000 rmb per person or 1w Thai baht per person
🏠 Accommodation: We chose to stay near Patong Beach, which is convenient for travel and has many places to eat and play. The hotel is very satisfied. There are two 711s within a hundred meters from the door, and the popular small hot pot is on the right side of the hotel.
👏Coming to Phuket, you must see the sea. Phuket has three major beaches, and it is very convenient to rent a car. You can rent a car for a half-day island tour (Patong Beach→Karon Beach→Kata Beach→Promthep Cape to watch the sunset)
1️⃣Kata Beach (Among the three major beaches, Kata is the favorite, with blue water, white sand, and relatively calm sea surface, suitable for lazing around)
2️⃣Karon Beach (Blue water, big waves, suitable for surfing)
3️⃣Patong Beach (The sea water is more turbid compared to the previous two, and there are the most water activities)
👏The second way to see the sea is to go out to sea🌊
✅Coral Island + Emperor Island Day Tour
The day tour reported on 🍑, only over a hundred per person, feels great, the itinerary is not rushed, very leisurely, plenty of time to play, snorkeling🤿, the sea water of Emperor Island is very blue, it is a jelly sea, but the waves are big, surfing is top-notch, Coral Island is not bad, basically no waves, soaking in the sea is too comfortable.
✅Similan Islands Day Tour
The farthest and most tossing among the island hopping tours, but it's really beautiful, white sandy beach🏖️jelly sea🌊, there are two snorkeling🤿. Depart from the hotel at six in the morning to the pier⛵️, arrive at Similan Island at about ten, and the play time is relatively short, not recommended for those with children.
✅There are also Phi Phi Island and Egg Island. The sea water of Phi Phi Island is green, with snorkeling, and there is a feeling of Guilin landscape, with mountains and seas. Egg Island is very close to Phuket Island, suitable for parent-child travel, many small fish, the beach is gentle, and the water is relatively shallow.
👏Coming to Phuket, you must go to the night market
1️⃣Phuket Old Street Weekend Night Market (Sunday 16:00-22:00)
If time can be arranged, you must go to this night market, which is very characteristic and has a great atmosphere. There are all kinds of food and fun. It is recommended to go early, the evening is more photogenic, there is sunset, the street is full of colorful lights, the bustling street, colorful architectural street.
2️⃣NAKA Night Market (Saturday and Sunday 17:00-22:00)
This night market is relatively cheaper than other night markets, a local night market, large in scale, with two areas for eating and shopping, with various special delicacies, and live resident singing.
3️⃣Frog Night Market🐸 (Monday to Saturday 17:00-23:00)
Very photogenic, with live resident singing, high face value, a variety of things are relatively complete, more tourists, the food is relatively expensive, but it is lively and the atmosphere is also good.
Phuket 4 days and 3 nights special forces tour on a whim
Going to Phuket now is the peak season, the cost is actually quite high, and the hotel is the main expense. Many good hotels are already booked, especially family-friendly ones. However, apart from the hotel, if you don't consider shopping, it's not too bad, it depends on how you play.
Since you choose to travel during the peak season, you need to have a good mindset, at least the scenery you encounter is far ahead. Although it's cheaper during the summer vacation, there are always big waves and heavy rain, and it rains for a few days after playing for a few days....
, Offshore islands, if time is not enough, it is recommended to go to Similan, don't go too many. If you have enough time, it doesn't matter, go wherever you want, but it's not recommended to go to an island a day, it's very tiring X travel a holiday, not military training! (Or a day trip for a day, and then go to another island to stay)
1 Similan: The sea is really beautiful, no filter is needed, it's full of dreams, the disadvantage is that you have to get up early. Similan can't accommodate people, although there are boat stays, but people with poor sleep will be uncomfortable, those who like deep diving and have certificates can consider boat stays.
2 Phi Phi Island: A day trip is also possible, you can also stay on the island, there are many hotel choices, if you choose to stay on the island, you can go to the viewpoint to watch the scenery and take pictures, you can also charter a long tail boat near the pier to Maya Bay, Little Phi Phi Island, Bamboo Island, etc.
3 Emperor Island: It's not as lively as Phi Phi Island, but it's very original and quiet. The sea of Emperor Island is blue jelly, the sea of Phi Phi Island is gradient, and the part of Little Phi Phi Island is green, like jade.
For the Phuket itinerary, I suggest you arrange it like this:
1 Patong Beach: Bar Street, Jiangxi Cold, Show Field, etc. are not far away, one day is enough, you can also experience Thai massage in Patong. Go to Banzaan to buy seafood and fruits, be sure to bargain. Jiangxi Cold shopping and dining can be solved, a lot of things are cabbage price, if the consumption exceeds 2K, remember to fill in the tax refund form
2 Karon Kata: Karon coastline is long, Kata has small hills. If you have plenty of time, you can stay for two or three days, blow the sea breeze, soak in the sea by the beach, drink some wine and play with the sand, watch the sunset, and lie flat in the hotel. Karon Viewpoint is average, it is recommended to go to Laem Sai Cliff Cafe
3 Phuket Town: The old street has a strong Nanyang style, the houses along the street are all colorful, and there are some exquisite small shops, coffee shops, all with unique styles, stroll, eat and take pictures in Phuket Town, it's very chic. If you go on Sunday, just stroll around the weekend night market
There are also many ways to play in other areas, arranging the itinerary by region saves taxi fares, everyone knows that taxis in Phuket are expensive.
I use Grab for taxi, purely because I don't want to waste time, compared to Bolt and Indrive, it's only about 30% more expensive (the whole journey probably won't cost more than 600). You can also take a double bar car/smart bus, which is more economical, equivalent to a bus.
Cong 'Zong' Hao 'Phuket Alliance'
They are all friends who have recently traveled to Phuket. We have a long time in Phuket and will find partners here~ There are hundreds of people here discussing strategies, avoiding pits together, and there are restaurant sharing documents, hotel selection guides, everyone is very enthusiastic and can chat!

Suvarnabhumi Airport Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Flying with Thai Airways
#wheretogo
Follow me and I will bring you to fly with Thai Airways. It is one of the premium airlines in Thailand serving many international and domestic destinations. Their main operating hub is from Suvarnabhumi airport and part of the Star Alliance too. They also have another sister airline which focus on budget flights, Thai Smile airways. The prices of Thai Airways are not cheap and most of the times, their on-time flight performance of 10%. One thing to note is that they some worth trying business class seats on their newer aircraft model. Try out Thai hospitality and you might like it.
SilverKris Lounge Suvarnabhumi Airport BKK
#weekendgetaways I recently had the pleasure of visiting the KrisFlyer lounge at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, and I must say, it left quite an impression on me. This dedicated lounge by Singapore Airlines offers a welcoming atmosphere with a variety of seating options, making it suitable for solo travelers, couples, and small groups. Whether you prefer bar seating, traditional tables, or private booths, there's a spot to suit your needs.
One of the highlights of the lounge is its culinary offerings. The focus on Thai cuisine is evident, and while some of the western options might not hit the mark, the overall variety ensures you'll find something to satisfy your taste buds before your flight. The addition of an on-site bar offering alcoholic beverages, mocktails, and barista coffee is a definite plus for those looking to relax and unwind.
However, it's worth noting that the absence of shower facilities can be a significant drawback, especially if you've been out and about in the hot and humid Thai weather all day. This is a feature many travelers value when in transit.
On the bright side, the service at the KrisFlyer lounge is commendable, with the bar staff standing out for their friendly demeanor. Despite the minor setback, this lounge offers a comfortable and enjoyable pre-flight experience, making it a worthwhile stopover for travelers passing through Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Bangkok Airport 2023
My first Bangkok trip in 2023 after the pandemic. It was a great trip with my family. We flew the 11am flight from Singapore, and landed at the Bangkok survanmbumi international airport at about 1pm local time. Surprisingly the immigration counter was not very crowded. We managed to clear the immigration within 20 minutes.
Compared to the previous times in Bangkok, we saw new restaurants coming up at the dining restaurant area in the airport. More choices of food are available. The facilities were good. Be sure to check out your boarding gate number, be sure to be there early as the walk can be very long.
Similar to other duty free shopping in the airport, the Bangkok airport has a wide selection of items for you to shop and spend time in your shopping before departing from the airport.
#bangkoktrip #tripblazers
BKK - what an airport ✈️
I have always enjoyed my layover or departure from BKK - the main airport in Bangkok!
It is one of the most sleek and sophisticated airport in the city with lots of different duty free shops and lounges. The whole check-in process is quite quick (depending on the airline) and immigration and security is quick too. At all times of the day and night, they have representatives to help with duty free shopping #urbanexplorer #thailand
