The Big Island (Hawaii island)
The Big Island (Hawaii island)
You might know that it as Waimea, but the post office didn't. When the post office demanded all towns in a state had their own name, Waimea, Maui kept its designation and Waimea on the Big Island went with the Hawaiian version of Samuel, chose for one of the town's favorite sons. Kamuela is a very different sort of Hawaiian vacation experience. Think cowpoke and ranch hands vs. beaches and mai tais. The interior town has several stunningly beautiful hotels and nine golf course, and where else on Hawaii could you tour a working cattle ranch?

Volcano
UNESCO World Heritage-Natural Site
CHONGFUComing to the Big Island of Hawaii, visiting the Volcano National Park is definitely the most exciting itinerary. Located in the southeast of the Big Island, the two most active active volcanoes in the world, Mauna Loa and Kilauea, are located in this park. The Kilauea volcano, which is still erupting continuously, seems to be for everyone Tell the great power of nature.

齐步走123The black sand beach is not the first time I have seen it, but the Punaluu black sand beach I think is the most beautiful I have seen, and the sand is really fine and soft, which makes us feel amazing and wonder why the sand is Black

Mountain
Volcano
FlorafifleAt an altitude of 13,796 feet (4205 meters), this is the highest mountain on the Big Island of Hawaii. If you count the part of it submerged in the sea, its height will exceed 10,000 meters, making it the highest mountain in the world (more than the Himalayas). But height is only an indicator to measure it. What I like is the stargazing experience in the mountains. In the eyes of traditional Hawaiians, it is a sacred place. The weather here is dry and there is no light pollution. There are more than 300 sunny nights throughout the year. Therefore, it has become one of the best places in the world for astronomical observation. Astronomical telescopes are scattered all over the hills. Drive there in the afternoon, enjoy the spectacular sunset on the earth from the clouds, step on the brown volcanic land, and have an infinitely broad field of vision. There will be a feeling of being outside the earth. Stargazing at night can see countless twinkles, which really complied with the phrase "stars can be picked by hand". It was cold, but I really couldn't bear to leave the bright starry sky.

Waterfall
唯愿岁月静好Rainbow Falls is named after a rainbow formed in the mist around the waterfall on a sunny morning. It is said that a cave below the waterfall is the home of Hina, the mother of Maui. This waterfall is right next to the parking lot. It's not that big. It's more like a garden in the middle of the street. The waterfall is really beautiful, but it may not be able to take a photo of the colorful waterfall due to the pixel problem of the mobile phone, so I had to record the video and keep it.

Botanical Garden
Terry KMust see! This is really a magical and spiritual place with a giant assortment(s) of tropical flowers in natural settings. Part jungle, gardens, and oceanfront views. If I only had time to do ONE thing while on this side of the island, I'd do this.

Beach
M49***29Basically, there are no tourist groups to see on this beach. Basically, more than 95% of the people who come here are free to travel, and there are many locals who come here for vacation.
