<p>The Astor Hotel in Tianjin was founded in the 2nd year of the reign of Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty (1863), and it is one of the very few existing buildings that were built in the middle of the 19th century in the former Tianjin concession area. The Astor Hotel specially set up a hotel museum to narrate the history of the hotel. The Astor Hotel Museum restored the dining room and menu at that time, with more than 3,000 pieces of antiques, artifacts and old objects, which were kept intact. The long-established Astor Hotel Museum is a side reflection of the era since the opening of Tianjin port.</p>
