In the city of Tianjin, there were nine concessions in the Qing Dynasty. In 1860, Britain took the lead in establishing a concession in Tianjin. Subsequently, France, the United States, Germany, Japan, Russia, Italy, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Belgium successively demarcate the concession in Tianjin, becoming the city with the largest concession in China.
Foreign culture settled in Tianjin, first in the building, Tianjin has countless small buildings, and Beijing Siheyuan. In addition to the most famous five avenues, there is another area called Xiaoyi Building, which is called the Italian-style customs area, just beside the Tianjin station in the city center. The
Italian style area used to be the Italian concession. It is also the only concession in Italy. It has the largest Italian architectural complex in Asia. Now it has become a tourist attraction for many tour groups, and it is also tasted by many locals. Western food place. The
Italian concession began in 1902 and has a history of more than 100 years. At the same time, there are also celebrities' former residences. There are Liang Qichao, Cao Yu, Zhang Tingxi, Cao Yu, Yuan Shikai, Qi Yaoshan, Zhang Xueming, Zeng Guofan, Feng Guozhen and Li Shu, the former residences of dozens of celebrities. The architecture of the
Italian area is still very distinctive, mostly red-brick-style villas, and there are western restaurants on the street, just like being abroad.

Tianjin Wei, a city with a clear construction date, has been an important town for the capital from the Yongle dynasty. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, with the invasion of the great powers, Tianjin also became a port and a place full of concessions. The Republic of China has also become a highlight in Tianjin's history. The Italian-style street along the Haihe River is the best testimony to the history of the Tianjin Concession. Walking here, you will feel like you are on an Italian street thousands of miles away. Numerous restaurants and bars attract an endless stream of tourists, as well as many foreigners. Like eating and drinking here. This is definitely a must-see attraction in Tianjin.
This place was a little less crowded than other touristy places in Tianjin. It is peaceful to look around at all of the old architecture. There are many statues with intricate designs. The Starbucks in this area is nice to visit with a round staircase at the top.
A beautiful Italian style town featuring loads of European style bars and restaurants. This place is best visited during the months of May-August due to the market which sells loads of Chinese souvenirs such as scarves, fans, hats etc for really cheap prices (10-30rmb). One of my favorite places to visit in Tianjin.
It's really an amazing place. architecture was mesmerized. I love this place
