Panfu Jiuju

＂ Pan Fu's Former Residence ＂ is located at No. 2 Racecourse Road, Heping District, Tianjin. The building was built in 1919 and is a typical Western European style garden-style residence. The main building in the courtyard is divided into two floors, three floors of brick and wood structure, and the architectural design is prominently round and five-sided balcony, and the decoration is extremely luxurious. Pan Fu (1883 ～ 1936) was the last state premier (32nd) of the Beiyang warlord government during the Republic of China. In the early summer of 1928, the Northern Expedition Army won the festival, the Beiyang government was poor, Zhang Zuoyu powered the country, withdrew from Beiping, and Pan Fu's cabinet collapsed. Pan resigned and retired to Tianjin to be a residence. He made extensive contacts, and his apartment also became a club for the bureaucrats in Jinchaoye at that time. Today this is Tianjin No. 20 Middle School, also Pan's father and son collection of books Huajian Pavilion location.

"Pan Fu's Former Residence" is located between Racecourse Road and Zhengzhou Road, next to the British public school, this small red-topped white-walled foreign building has now been planned for use by 20 Middle Schools, which is the office building of 20 Middle Schools. Pan Fu's former residence was built in 1919, he commissioned Kaiyu Coal Director Zhuang Lefeng to invite French architects to design and contract construction. At that time, the main building was a three-story brick and wood structure, large tiles, tiled iron roofs, cement face, doors and windows floors all made of Filipino wood, and the building was equipped with a five-sided balcony. Pan Fujining, a person of the late Qing Dynasty, was born in the tidal world of the famous family of officials. He served in the Ministry of Finance of the Nanjing Provisional Government in 1912, and soon joined Chengde as secretary. From 1919 to 1921, he served as the finance minister of the Beiyang Government three times. In 1926, Zhang Zuoqi entered the government of Beijing, and Pan became the finance chief in September. In 1927, he was the Prime Minister of State and the General Director of Transport. In June 1928, he retired to Jinmen to live a life of public life. In 1936, he died. Especially legendary is that when he took over the premiership, the ousted prime minister, Yuan Yunpeng, was his mother and once Pan Fu's nurse, and Xu Shichang was in office in 1919, Yuan Yunpeng recommended Pan Fu to be the financial deputy. They joined the United Party in the early years and founded a yarn factory and electric light company together. This old house is also called "Huajian Building" because Pan Fu and his father Pan Shoulian (Qing Dynasty Jinshi) jointly collect books and books here, including books (Ming Tuohua Mountain Monument, Song Kezizhi Tongjian, etc.). But what we see today is not the original building, which was later copied and moved backwards, but fortunately we can still see the replica. Compared with Pan Fu's former residence, the former residence of 31 President Hoover was not so lucky. The former residence of the president at No. 6 Racecourse Road was later damaged by the earthquake and was simply razed to the ground. The location is the location of the 20 middle school playground today. Hoover was an engineer at the Kaiyu Mineral Bureau. He lived here for seven years. He came to Tianjin in 1899.
