Tianjin Old City Museum

＂ Tianjin Old Town Museum ＂ Also known as: Old Town Xiaoliyuan, located at No. 202 Gulou East Street, Nankai District, Tianjin, formerly known as Xu Park's house of British McGarry Foreign Bank, also known as: Xujia Courtyard, built in the late Qing Dynasty and early Minzu. The building sits north and south, the Qianzhai Anus Gate, the central axis is composed of three sets of courtyards, and there are arrows on both sides of the east and west. Its architectural sculptures are elegant and exquisite, and it is the only well-preserved typical traditional residential courtyard in Tianjin. Tianjin officially built the city in Mingyongle two years (1404 AD). In 2004, on the 600th anniversary of Tianjin's construction of the city, the Old City Museum opened to the public. The museum witnessed the city's hundreds of years of wind and rain, and it collected the rich historical and cultural charm of Tianjin, leaving a precious historical and cultural work, becoming a link between people's memory of the dead and connecting their relatives.

This is the only well-preserved traditional residential courtyard in Tianjin, which was built in the end of the Qing Dynasty. The museum has more than 3,000 historical relics, and reproduces the historical development footprint of Tianjin for more than 600 years.
