The Yuhuang Pavilion was built in the Ming Dynasty during Hongwu, that is, 1368 AD, and has a history of more than 600 years, and is one of the oldest existing buildings in Tianjin. Today, on its beams, you can clearly see the "qianqiu belt", which clearly records the period of repair for it. Yuhuang Pavilion is the largest Taoist temple in Tianjin. The main worship in the temple is the Jade Emperor, who is second only to Sanqing in the Taoist deity, and it is one of the highest-ranking gods in the Taoist world. But in the fairy world of folk, the Jade Emperor is the king of the gods, leading three circles and ten parties, even the emperor of the world is governed by it, so it has become the world's dominant in the minds of the people. Now the renovated Yuhuang Pavilion has basically restored the original appearance of the year. It is located on the west bank of the Haihe River, only 100 meters away from the Sancha Estuary. It stands on the Yuhuang Pavilion, overlooking the wide Haihe River and the beautiful scenery of the Sancha Estuary.

When you see the road signs in the ancient cultural street, you can follow them. In fact, this is a small Taoist temple, which is listed as a protected building. There is a space in front of the door for the worship of Shangxiang, but there are not many people.

Yuhuang Pavilion is at an exit of Ancient Culture Street. It is a place where incense burns and worships Buddha in Tianjin. The incense is quite good. Some people worship it when they go. Near the entrance of Tianjin Ancient Culture Street, Taoist architecture is said to be the oldest existing building in Tianjin. Two-tier structure. There are no other Taoist buildings nearby. It seems that Taoism has been completely destroyed. Only this building survives. There are no incenses or features, the only thing worth mentioning is that it does not charge.

The oldest existing building in Tianjin is located on the side of the Ancient Culture Street. It used to be a magnificent Taoist temple. There are only two floors of this pavilion. The lower floors are dedicated to the Jade Emperor. It is a pity that we can enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Haihe River when we climb the second floor.
