Yuyang Old Street has a long history and no special features.
Ji County was called Yuyang in ancient times and has a long history. It was built in the Han Dynasty. In the 4th year of Ming Hongwu, the Tucheng was rebuilt with bricks. There were three gates in the east, west and south, and no gates to the north. The Sanli Long Street, connecting the east gate and the west gate, was the main street of the ancient city. The street is a part of its west, which has been rebuilt and restored to its original appearance. From the Gulou in the east to the ancient city wall in the west, there is an archway at each end of the street. The entire ancient street has the architectural style of the Qing Dynasty, alternating high and low, scattered in a pattern, or with ridges and eaves, towering tall pavilions; or simple and bright, combining shops and shops. These buildings complement each other with the century-old Huai tree in the ancient street and the Dule Temple, a thousand-year-old temple. Jizhou is a well-known historical and cultural city with rich cultural heritage and profound cultural heritage.
