Tiantai County Museum is located in the Tiantai Mountain National Scenic Area, next to the Guoqing Temple of the Tiantai Sect of Buddhism, and exhibits ceramics, bronze, calligraphy, ancient books and miscellaneous items. There are also stone spears and stone axes from the Stone Age, pottery from the Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period, porcelain and bronze from the Han and Jin Dynasties, stone carvings and inscriptions from the Tang and Song Dynasties, porcelain and bronze Buddha statues from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the colorful inlaid "West Lake Ten Views" during the Qianlong period Precious cultural relics such as huge lacquered life screens. The cultural relics inside the exhibition hall are not allowed to be photographed, only the external environment.

The roof museum is not big, it is a few steps from the bus station in Guoqing Scenic Area. You need to brush your ID card when you enter the museum. The museum is divided into three parts. The most interesting ones are some old photos, including the excavation of the Longchuan Gorge Reservoir and some old stories. Plus, the dinosaur eggs are big ones.
