A statue of an owl

Maybe not the most interesting sightseeing object in Tokyo but cute owls in the Ikebukuro station. In wintertime they will be dressed so they don't get cold.

Easy to miss

I walked pass the statue several times when visiting the area. Not easy to notice. It is another local statue. May be good for meeting point to locals but may not be for visitors.

Ikefukuro..In the station near JR exit

Having problems to locate the stature. GPS of not help I think the signal was weak. The little owls were donated by elementary school kids.

Another Statute on the Street Level

There is another Ikebukuro Statute beside the police box in East Ikebukuro. It’s on the other side of the wide footpath in front of Sushizanmai, where we went to have our lunch.
