Zhongtianzhu Fajing Buddhist Temple

It seems to be particularly favored by the emperors of the past: the Northern Song Dynasty gave the name "Tianning Wanshou Yongxu Temple". The Southern Song Dynasty Gao Zong gave the Buddha statue, placed in the temple Huayan Bao Pavilion, and expanded the temple, and the Ming Dynasty gave the name "Zhongtianxu Temple". To the emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty, it was listed as the first temple of the five mountains and ten temples of the Zen in the world. In addition, it was renamed the Yongxu Temple in the Yuan Dynasty and the Fajing Temple in the Qing Dynasty. The original Tibetan Jing Pavilion in the temple was destroyed in a fire in 1947.

Fajing Temple, formerly known as "Zhongtian Temple", is located in the west of Hangzhou West Lake, Zhejiang Province, between Tianzhu Mountain and Lingyin Temple.
