Feng Zikai Memorial

Life is short and artistic, life is real, life is gentle and compassionate. When I stepped into Fengzixuan's former residence, I was excited. The building is a typical Jiangnan style and very beautiful. There are many old things of the gentleman in the memorial hall. Our group set off from Wuzhen Dongzha, and the minibus drove for about half an hour to reach Shimen Town, Tongxiang. This is a town very different from Wuzhen, almost no commercial atmosphere, the town is quiet and light, such as the maintenance of Xiaojia Jasper, residents live and work, retaining the original atmosphere of Jiangnan life. As a historical and cultural building in the town, Feng Zixuan Memorial Hall is free to the public. It shows that the government attaches great importance to cultural education and respects Mr. Feng Zixuan's wish. Feng Zixuan, a famous cartoonist, educator, artist in the Republic of China period. The comic hall describes Feng Zixuan's life: from the late stage to New China, spanning the three Dynasties, through hardships, optimistic and cheerful comic master's life. Detailed exhibition of Mr. Feng Zixuan's cartoons and ink, inadvertently writing a magnificent picture of life. At the same time, there are also relevant comic works of Feng Zixuan's descendants and apprentices. Yuanyuantang is the former site of Mr. Feng Zixuan's family before the war. The first floor is the hall, and the second floor is the living room of Mr. Feng Zixuan's family. The old-fashioned furniture is antique and wonderfully restores the life and living at that time. It coincides with the old furniture style of our childhood. Time is good, the years are quiet. The generation of masters is born, grown, written brilliantly, born and raised, and shared in this courtyard. Classic works have been through the years and have been renewed for a long time. The spirit of the master spans the times and will last forever. The scenery that cannot be missed: Shimen Town in Tongxiang-Fengzixuan Memorial Hall.

It's worth going. It's a pity that the memorial hall is too small for everyone in the hall. It is hoped that the local government can attach importance to the expansion of Feng Zikai's Memorial Hall and make it a local cultural card.
