Ontario's Parliament sits at Queen's Park, which is now over 100 years old. Bring your camera to take some pics outside.

    Little green oasis

If you have an hour to take a walk, then you should take a walk here in the shade and see the surrounding buildings.

Best Green Space near U Toronto

Toronto has a waterfront with many small parks, but this is the largest to be found in the city. Sad to see people skate boarding on the center statue, but at least it's a green space with park bench...

Stunningly beautiful area with lots of natural beauty and a peaceful landscape. Lots of regeneration work currently going on. Many wonderful iconic buildings close by.

    Picnic among the Oaks

Toronto is a city of squirrels and this is where they come from. Great park that students or working people usually make use of during breaks.

    A park for protesters.

A grassy field with some trees. The place of many protests trying to get the attention of provincial politicans. Skip this place.

Additional Information

Introduction

Queen’s Park in downtown Toronto offers you a distinctive opportunity to wander through the city while enjoying nature. The urban park features mature trees providing shade for you as you walk the footpaths of the park. In addition, the park includes several monuments and statues recognizing historical events and figures. A visit to Queen’s Park also gives you the chance to see and visit the Ontario Legislature while strolling through the downtown setting. Because the park offers few amenities other than picnic tables, it gives you a quiet respite and peaceful location to enjoy a few moments or a few hours.
