Toronto once had a provincial prison, Don Jail, located across Chinatown on the East Side. Don Jail had performed his duties long before the founding of Canada. The prison closed in 1977 due to overcrowding and outdated facilities. The old building was reopened and designed as a hospital: Bridgepoint Active Health care. 🍎 Open visit: the public denounces it as a "prisoner's palace". The interior is sombre and scary, and there is no one in the world. It attracted Hollywood to film here, including: ↙️ "Chicago" (Chicago), 2002. Received six Oscars.
