Victoria State Rose Garden Victoria State Rose Garden is located in Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, Australia. It is about 35 kilometers away from the city of Melbourne. It is next to Werribee Mansion, known as Melbourne's "Downton Abbey", covering an area of about 5 hectares. The rose garden is arranged and combined in the shape of flowers, with pavilions, fountains and other landscapes interspersed among the five petals. There are more than 200 varieties and more than 5,000 roses planted in the garden. During the flowering season, you can smell the fragrance of flowers when you enter the door. We were driving along the Great Southern Touring Route, a classic route in southern Victoria on our 7-day tour. The first stop was the State Rose Garden. We had to make a special trip.
