Caversham Wildlife Park Perth, WA, Australia I strongly recommend you all go to this place if you go to Perth, WA, Australia. It was such a great experience that I have ever had! You can even hug a koala in your arms (have to pay a ticket for it beside the entrance ticket, but it's really worth) and have got a chance to see other animals that I only see through pictures or books.

Open Daily - 9.00am to 4.30pm Western Grey Kangaroos are found in Southern Australia including the South West around Perth, in open forest, coastal heathland, mallee scrubland and woodlands. Take a walk through the Kangaroo enclosure – view them in a spacious and peaceful environment. Kangaroo food is provided – help yourself. The kangaroos are very friendly. Caversham Wildlife Park; A Western Australian family owned and operated tourist highlight. David & Pat own and operate Caversham Wildlife Park with their son David & daughter Debbie. When they purchased the park in 1988, the park housed a small collection of animals and birds on a modest 5 acre (2ha) property. A few years later, the park doubled in size, when the family purchased the adjoining property and the collection startedto boom. In May 2003, the family designed and built a new park in Whiteman Park, once again, more than doubling in size. CWP features about 200 species, and more than 2000 head of animals, birds and reptiles. This impressive collection makes CWP the largest privately owned collection of native wildlife in Western Australia. Nice weather as we were there during winter time, nice animals in wildlife, you can carry koala here but not included in entry ticket, cannot remember how much and there are 2 sessions and limited number of people as well. telhere are some other up close and personal with some animals. many to see. Along the journey here, you’ll see a lot of nature view instead of big city view. That’s pretty calming your stress for a bit. Attractions - Horse ride, Peguin feeding, koala & kangaroo (first time seeing it). Each hour they have their own activities that you can join in, but I didn’t get to do that as we also have other arrangement. Which place is just a 5 hours flight away from Singapore? And this place shares the same time zone as Singapore? Its Perth of course and it's definitely one of the best family friendly destination. With just a short flight away and having the same time zone, it makes traveling so much easier with kids. One can easily rent a car in perth and do a self drive trip, without having to take public transport. Visit caversham wildlife park and learn and get close to the Australian outback animals. Take a train ride at busselton jetty, which the kids love so much! Have lots of fun at Pia's playground and even take a boat ride out at Augusta to spot whales.
