Mountain
pxy0705The highest place in Townsville is the famous Castle Hill, which overlooks the entire Townsville seascape. The sea and sky are very charming. There are many commercial facilities on the viewing platform on the top of the mountain, which is very convenient and worth visiting.

Aquarium
HSJ233The Coral Reef Aquarium is located in the city center of Townsville, on Flinders Street near the harbour. Next to it is the Queensland Tropical Museum. This aquarium is not too big and the various displays inside are mainly corals, but The types of other marine animals are not few.

Zoo
yangduoduo17We visited Billabong Sanctuary. The layout and landscaping of the park left a deep impression on us. It is clean and easy to find your way out. Our day is full of animal interaction-many accidents! We fed turtles and cassowaries. We are holding an anaconda and a little crocodile. We met wild dogs up close and were able to slap them. Crocodile show featuring "Krakatoa"-amazing wow! The animal habitat is very natural and well designed, so you can easily see them up close. We had lunch at Blinky Bill's cafe-reasonably priced and delicious! We had a great day at Billabong Sanctuary-highly recommended!

多多There are fascinating scenery here, you can take a walk, you can also overlook the magnificent Townsville Magnetic Island, the waterfront, Castle Hill and everything around. This boardwalk is very long, and you can enjoy the beauty of this coastline along the way. There are also some veterans’ huts with artworks for tourists. We went in the afternoon and had a good time. It is definitely recommended. This is the best place to enjoy the beauty of the golden coastline!

Museum
HSJ233It’s not clear why this is translated into the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Center. This is actually the Cultural Center of Townsville, called TheCulturalCentre. It is located next to the Coral Aquarium. The cultural center does introduce some indigenous cultures.
