Sidi Bou Said is a small village in #tunisia , northern #africa which is all in white and blue. The law says that all the buildings should be in these and only these colours and this saves the authentical style of the place. It was really enjoyable even not big at all. There were many touristy cafés around and also many organized tours.

SIDI BOU SAID, the full name of Sidi Bou Said, is located in the northeastern part of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. It is called the Blue and White Town because of the town on the cliffs of the Mediterranean Sea. All houses have only two colors, white walls, blue doors and windows.
The whole town is along the mountain, the layout is very simple, a cobbled street, white houses shining in the sun on both sides, and some alleys stick out from the house. The
houses are only two or three stories high, and the most people feel as if they are in a fairy tale, the blue iron windows and the blue wooden doors inlaid on the white wall.

There are three blue and white towns in the world, Greece, Morocco, and Tunisia. I have never been to the first two, and I have never been interested in Greece. I feel that I will only go to the honeymoon, although my ideal honeymoon is Dalian. Tunisia, which has long been heard, is located in the northeastern part of the city of Tunis. It is said to be a place where artists gather. There is even a century-old caf that was frequented by Picasso. I thought that this coffee shop had to sell a lot of money. Picasso had stayed. The meaning of the present is like a coffee shop that an angel investor in Zhongguancun often goes to. It must be full, a cup of coffee can not be 15 knives. what. Finally I found out that I was wrong and I will talk about it later.
The whole blue and white town is like its name. The main theme is blue and white. When you look up at the blue sky on a sunny day, you can even feel that the whole town and the sky are integrated. It is impossible to tell which town is Not a city of the sky.

I came across this place, I liked it
this is an amazing old part of the city and definitely a must see on your trip to Tunis . full of small handicraft shops and souvenirs, small places to eat ( must try the local version of fried dough with sugar ). you walk through this gallery of old buildings all in white with blue ornaments set on a hillside with beautiful trees and flowers . on the top of the hill there is the amazing coffeehouse built into the clog with views over the ocean. I loved this place and the atmosphere.
The blue and white town of Tunisia is very well planned and very clean. Although there are cats everywhere, there is no unpleasant smell. Every household has white walls and blue windows, and the paint on the walls is uniform without color difference. The color of the door is mostly blue, but there are other colors. The most beautiful is the green plant at the door, with blue and white, which is very eye-catching. There are two fish painted on the wall next to the door of each house. This seems to be their guardian. The cafes in the town have beautiful scenery and very cheap prices. Order a cup of traditional mint tea and sit for an afternoon for only about 3 yuan (1 dinar).
The blue and white town of Tunisia, whose real name is Sidi Bou Said, is located in the northeast of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. The reason why it is known as the "blue and white town" is that this town on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea has only two colors for all houses. White walls, blue doors and windows. Compared to Chefchaouen in Morocco, this place is more rustic.
The bright colors of the sea and the sky create the beauty of the Mediterranean style, as if the white wall after being washed by water. The blue and the log building materials are matched with the plain surface paint. The prevalence of non-pretentious art makes this place become cast iron, ceramic tiles, mosaics, and weaving. …And other decorated hotbeds are also famous for their blue and white colors. Compared with the Sisi Dipsid in Santorini, Greece, it is more rustic, fresher and more pleasant~
