Mirror Lake/Meadow Trail

Easy on service road entire way to lake. Than, wow, you see Half Dome on right - just breathtaking. Tenaya Canyon opens up and you see Cloud's Rest the mountain on right up canyon from Half Dome. It's 1,000 feet higher. You see walls smoothed from glaciers down into canyon. On left, is Basket Dome, North Dome just amazing. Travel up dirt trail on a loop around lake, when you reach the wooden bridge, you can either go up trail on right side to Snow Creek Falls. OR continue on around mirror lake. If water is down, you can walk down to sand and see different views. Take all day to enjoy all the views. There are pit restrooms. If water is low enough NOT roaring that is dangerous, you can go swimming out to boulders. A lot of fun. paved road is great for baby strollers and wheelchairs. If you want more adventures, you can take the dirt trail left of road and follow it up to Mirror Lake. There's a restroom at two way road before heading up to lake.

Mirror Lake and the surrounding paths are a sightseeing scenic spot in Yosemite National Park. The environment is very good. The paths are up and down. It feels very good to walk. It is a more distinctive one of the many walking trails in Yosemite.

It is impossible to reach by car here, so you can only take the shuttle bus in the park. The scenery is good, there is a lake between the two mountains, the water is not big when we go, I believe that the water is more beautiful when it is big. Looking up, a cloud hides in the middle of two mountains in the distance, as if hiding something. The lake, grass, yellow trees, valleys and white clouds feel like a peaceful serenade in a beautiful place.
