sarah on the road

I didnt know that there was this place before Feiset, and it was also a surprise outside the itinerary. The locals called KAYAKOY a ghost town. There is no one living here. The small town that has been abandoned for thousands of years, the size of the city is very large, the ancient Greeks Living in this city, and later because of the war between Turkey and Greece, the Greeks abandoned the city and returned to Greece, and no one came to live. Faithiette locals know this place, but few people have come, asked the staff of the tourist information office, the bus stop next to the mosque can go to KAYAKOY, the number of shifts is very small, We waited for an hour before the car arrived. It was almost dark in the ghost town. KAYAKOY was actually on the other side of the Dead Sea town. There was a hiking route from the Dead Sea to KAYAKOY. It took about five or six hours to experience the ghost town. The size of the ghost town is amazing. There are 300-500 stone houses, which are very well preserved. I don't know why the local area has not developed this place. It is definitely worth more than many monuments. A lot of stone ladder roads have been damaged. Be careful when you go. When you think about it, you may have high development costs. The area is so large. If it is repaired, it is also a big project. There is a church on the top of the mountain, but I dont know if its a low season or a holiday, its closed. Gradually, its dark, theres no one in the ghost town, a little scared. Go down the hill and go back to the roadside. Wait for the bus to go back. Fortunately, I will wait for a while, and the minibus will come. This visit was very hasty, many places did not come, I hope to have the opportunity to come down again and experience the ancient city style of the next millennium.
