St Lawrence’s Market Coming here is a must for Torontonians. Markets like this are a rare gem within the city. In my personal opinion, you get to know a lot about the city by visiting a local market. There is so much life and energy in the market, just like the city of Toronto. The selection of food here is amazing and there are a ton of choices. Personally speaking, the guacamole and the spicy onion sauce [found at a stall] downstairs are not to be missed! Turn a corner at the back of the market and you’ll find some hand-made Italian pasta at an Italian restaurant. Those are really worth a try as well. Spend some time here, walk around and buy some surprisingly great farm products. It would be a mistake not to try a bacon sandwich or an Italian chicken drumstick at the Carousel Bakery. This gem of Toronto offers lots of food items such as cheeses, deli meats and breads. The parking lot is at the south side and still cost only one dollar!
