City Park
乖小咪This is the famous Red Lotus Lake Park in Udon Thani Province. There are about 50,000 acres of lotus planted here, which was once included in the Guinness Book of World Records. The most beautiful time here is in the evening, when the sunset glow shines on the lake, shining bursts of light, and the red lotus is more charming and moving. Rafting on the lake is really the feeling of people walking in the middle of the painting.

_We***18Not too far from Udon Thailand city center, less than 80 jewels by car, feels very calm, there is a gust of wind, wash away all worries, and then you can walk to the lakeside park for a walk, a good trip

Monument
队长 大使馆Interesting fountains and sculptures around the plaza. For a small fee it's worth climbing to the top of the monument to take in panoramic views of the city. There are souvenir shops on the upper levels.

Temple
wic***itThis Buddha Park can be reached by bus to save money as it is 25 Km away from Vientiane center. It was built about 60 years ago, having about 200 statues of Hindu and Buddhist believes. I feel the area is more like a park than a religious site. The park is located by the Mekong River and not far from Thai-Laos border gate. We walked inside to take photos in about an hour as the park is not large. We saw statues of Gods, human beings, animals and devils. They say the tallest part of this park can be seen from Thailand side. We went up the huge pumpkin having 3 levels representing hell, earth and heaven and there are statues inside too. The reclining Buddha statue is long about 40 meters and you can’t miss that. We visited around 2pm and it was so hot. Coconut juice, mango juice and other beverages are sold in the park. Price is about 25,000 Kip. The park entrance ticket doesn’t cost much (about the same price with a soft drink). The park has trees and plants which are pleasant to walk inside. Bring your water bottles.
