This is the exact get away people are wishing to have. It is a good place for a day out not too far from the city and not too pricy.
he beach here is cleaner and prettier than Bongoyo island and there is a small path you can hike on the north side of the island where you can see Baobab trees. The restaurant hut on the island offers the best seafood in Dar, serving either fresh grilled fish (tasi or changu) or lobster for very reasonable prices. My favorite place to visit from Dar.
