yjw2000

The Hongshan Pagoda is located at the peak of Hongshan (now in Hongshan Park) on the north side of the West Bridge in Urumqi, corresponding to the Yamalik Mountain Brick Pagoda. The Hongshan Pagoda is 10.6 meters high and is a solid tower of blue bricks with six sides and nine grades. The west of the tower is a sheer cliff, shaped like a toad with its head held high; the east is the extension of Hongshan from east to west; the north and south sides are steep slopes. The Hongshan Pagoda consists of three parts: the tower base, the tower body and the Tasha. The plane is hexagonal. The tower base is 1 meter high, and each side is 2.26 meters long; the tower body is about 0.9 meters high between each stage. The eaves of the tower are stacked and picked out, and the income is more obvious. The brick tower has a rigorous structure, beautiful appearance, and is quite sturdy. After more than 200 years of wind and rain, the Hongshan Pagoda stands intact on the top of the cliff, which is a must in Urumqi. "The Tower Reflects the Sunset" is the first peculiar landscape among the eight old scenic spots in Urumqi. Whenever the sun sets in the west, the cliffs of Hutou Peak are shimmering with red light, and the entire peaks and peaks are radiant with red light. The Hongshan Pagoda is in the halo of the sunset, and the shadow of the pagoda is long and slanted, showing a charming style, so it is called "the tower reflects the sunset". Visiting the Hongshan Pagoda, as Meng Haoran of the Tang Dynasty recited: "Personnel affairs are metabolized, and exchanges have become ancient and modern. If there are historical sites in the country, my generation will come again."
