The Bell Tower of Utrecht Dome Cathedral, located in Utrecht, Netherlands, is one of the miracles of Gothic architecture. It was built in 1321 and completed in 1383 and lasted 62 years. Originally, the Bell Tower and the church were united. Then the passageway connecting the Bell Tower and the church collapsed in the hurricane of 1674. Since then, the Bell Tower has not been repaired, and it has become an independent building. Now you can also see uneven bricks on the top of the outside wall of the church facing the bell tower, as well as pictures on the inside of the church on the wall. The Bell Tower of Utrecht Dome Cathedral is 112 meters high, and it rises into the clouds in an octagonal shape. It is the highest bell tower in the Netherlands. The Cathedral can be seen not far from the railway station.
This morning I was lounging in Utrecht. This is the cathedral tower. The most conspicuous landmark of Utrecht is playing wonderful music every 15 minutes. In the afternoon, I will go to Dehar Castle. First, I will take an 8-minute train to Vleuten Station. When I turn left, I can see a bus stop. I will find the No. 127 bus stop sign (the number is very small, and the bus is also a minibus).
When traveling to Europe, churches are always the best choice, because they can't charge fees and have to be worshipped. The Church in Utrecht should be tall, visible from a long distance, and of a fairly large area. Just put a sign saying that every tourist will automatically throw in two dollars and five euros. It's crazy to think about money.
