"We made our way to The statue of Christ by using public transport first we bought a ticket at the Metro and there is a connecting bus that will take you directly to the cog tram. The cost was substantially cheaper than using a need to and also you are not limited to the amount of time that you spend up at the top of Christ the Redeemer"

"A night at one of Rio de Janeiro’s infamous favelas, will unquestionably be a new experience you're unlikely to forget in a hurry. Whist the prospect of dancing the night away in one of the city's most dangerous neighbourhoods sounds daunting, the reality is completely the opposite. Brazilians are renowned for knowing how to have a good time, and the nightlife in the favelas epitomises this, as the locals forget about their daily routines and let their hair down for a night of Favela madness! Just make sure you book it through a tour guide, rather than braving it by yourself."

"Beautiful stairs with an incredible story! Be sure to go up all 215 stairs to see their beauty! Also take time to admire the unique tiles used to create the art! Be sure to be careful in the surrounding neighborhoods though, as they are not known for being the nicest."

"This is NOT to be missed! It's a beautiful Brazilian modernist building, with amazing exhibitions. The museum is all glass walls, so everywhere you look you'll also get a stunning view of the beach. Look for the museum shop for a fun selection of Brazilian design."

"The Nitroy Sea Bridge in Rio, Brazil, is a very magnificent maritime structure, which is like a giant dragon across the sea. It is an important traffic artery in Rio. There are a lot of cars on the bridge and the huge ships under the bridge every day. It is also an architectural miracle in Brazil and it is worth visiting."

"Wonderful park, with this monumental old building inside! Luxurious cafe opens at 9am, and therefore you can not see the inside of the building. Nevertheless it's wonderful spot for wanderers! From that point, through the woods, you can take one steep hiking trail to get to the monument of the Christ the Redeemer. I love all the walking/hiking options Brazil is offering us ♡"

"Lapa is a neighbourhood popular for its nightlife in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is famous for its restaurants, clubs and bars. It is also the center of bohemian place in Rio. It is a dead zone in the morning and comes very much alive at night especially on weekends."
