Located on Jericho Beach opposite downtown Vancouver, a large number of picnic and barbecue facilities, a large area of green grass for playing football and a volleyball beach attract many people to barbecue and exercise here. Because the water here is shallow and the water temperature is higher than other places, it is also one of the most suitable beaches for swimming in Vancouver.
I used to think that this beach was a perfect place for my little son, not afraid to bump into it. When I stepped on the beach with one footprint, it was more earthly than the carpet at home. With a small bucket and shovel, I could dig up sand castles, and the less beautiful shells could be digged out at random. I had a fantasy that someday when I dug out an elephant and pulled out a clam, our dinner would fall down: (However, one day I found the right place). The son of "lust period" not only put everything in his mouth when he saw it at home, but also filled his mouth with sand on the beach. With a cry of alarm, the scenery here is beautiful, but it can't be so "beautiful and delicious" ah.
There are several beaches along English Bay: Jericho, Locarno, Spanish, etc. Like other beaches, there are snowy mountains in the north, swimming, playing beach volleyball and barbecuing in summer. The difference is that it is close to Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, where numerous yachts are moored, adding to its grandeur and elegance.
There are plenty of beaches in Vancouver, but Jericho offers a stunning view of the Vancouver skyline as it is situated southwest of downtown. While it’s a gorgeous sight during the day, it’s even better at night when the lights of all the towers are reflected in the water.
This laid beach park is great walkers, bikers, & anyone who likes to be by the sea. It has been recently restored with a great view of downtown.
An easy walk from 4446 West 8th. Perfect for a walk on a sunny evening or any time during the day.
Lovely in any season...re charge with a little "vitamin sea".
at low tide go for miles and look back on the city scape
