On a short trip to Venice we found Mea Libera Tutti mentioned on some blogs in search of gluten free pizza. I'm very happy we went there. Michele, the shop owner doesn't only have a lot of good gluten free products, she also knows some lovely stories about where the products come from. She offered to advice us on some gluten free restaurants and even wrote it down on our map! Walking out with a whole basket full of cookies and handmade pasta I felt confident I could have a yummy gluten free pizza on this trip and I did! I also had lasagna, cake and ice cream at places she recommended and it was even better than she said. It made the whole trip to Venice a lot better, not having to worry about finding a place suitable to eat gluten free!
