It is indeed a building with a high reputation in terms of shape, layout and structure, and its existence should indeed be worthy of the pride of Lao people.More
The current Pagoda Luang is a masonry Buddhist building complex, covering an area of more than 8,400 square meters. The entire building is quadrangular and divided into three floors. It is 69 meters in three dimensions and 68 meters in width from north to south. Each side has a center in the center. The worship pavilion, the east pavilion is a double-edged spire building with a small tower inside, which is said to be an ancient tower model.
The weather is so hot but amazed with the ambiance of the place. Great tour.
First do not come here expecting the splendour of the Shwedagon, which is That Phat Luang's Burmese counterpart in Rangoon. However, this temple is a most important sacred site in Laos. I don't think it is adorned by real gold leaf, although please let me know if I'm mistaken. It's quite elegantly stark by comparison with many other Lao temples and pagodas. Nevertheless. It is important to visit and be sure to make time to walk around the perimeter arcades which house a wealth of ancient statuary and sacred artifacts.
pha that luang vieng chan is very important place for lao peoples there is very nice place .. beautiful peaceful and full of cultural
