About Vietnam

Vietnam is the crown jewel in southeast Asia. With climatic variation between north and south, there is a wealth of opportunities for exploration. Hanoi, the capital, blends history with modernity. Ho Chi Minh City has a frenetic feeling and wonderful dynamism. Elegant French colonial-era buildings sit alongside modern high rises. Nha Trang’s beaches are a great draw, while Mui Ne is a popular southern getaway. Hoi An is simply fabulous, not to mention also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Vietnam’s long coastline and warm Pacific waters make it a splendid travel destination.

902 Reviews
Beach
Nha Trang Beach consists of 6 km of sandy beach, coconut trees, clear blue waters and a row of high-end hotels and cafes just across the road from the beach. Most are right within walking distance of the beach. There are plenty of places to rent sun loungers, swim or play volleyball on the beach. Locals come by in the early morning to work out and run, and it is also a popular place to for evening strolls as the sunlight wanes.
Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon
4.4/5
958 Reviews
Church
The Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica is one of the landmark buildings of Ho Chi Minh City. Located in the heart of the city, it was built in the late 19th century. Featuring typical Gothic architecture, the front has two bell towers measuring 40 meters, which are modeled after the design of Paris's Notre Dame Cathedral. On the garden square in front of the church, there stands a 4-ton Virgin Mary statue which was given as a gift from the Church in Rome in 1945. If, by chance, you happen to visit while Mass is going on, you can quietly enter the church to feel the pious religious atmosphere.
My Khe Beach

Beach
My Khe Beach is located on the eastern outskirts of Da Nang. With soft, fine sands and clear ocean water, it is a very desirable location to visit. Go early in the morning if you want to watch the beautiful sunrise over the sea. Aside from walking on the beach, you can enjoy the sea view or rent a lounge chair for sunbathing. There are also many water sports for you to take advantage of, including jetskis, banana boats and parasailing. Treat yourself to the many seafood restaurants around the beach.
Central Post Office
4.4/5
1,042 Reviews
Historical Architecture
The Central Post Office in Ho Chi Minh City is a French colonial post office built in the 19th century. The exterior of the Post Office resembles an elaborate train station. Wherever you look, everything is intricately designed and decorated. The dates of the Post Office's construction (1886-1891) are inscribed beneath the large clock over the main entrance. Walk into the Post Office and you'll find a spacious lobby with a classically arching ceiling, round windows, hanging chandeliers, and stunningly gorgeous wall lamps, among other decorative features. Beneath the old map on the wall, there are classic phone booths from which you can make international calls. While visiting the Central Post Office, consider mailing a postcard home.

Trip Moments

I graduated from that year, I spent 3,000 to go to Vietnam for 15 days
and I was a one-year graduation season. I have been to many places in these years, and the most profound travel experience in my life is a graduation trip in Vietnam. Five days. In a few years, this may not have much real-time advice, but I hope to share it with you.
Preparation:
passport visa, ID card (required for train return), US dollar (local VND, dollar exchange rate is more cost-effective, some can withdraw money), mobile phone, camera, charger, paper towel, Sunscreen, cold medicine, mobile power, etc.
Time difference:
Vietnam 1 hour later than China. It is 4:50 local time, 5:50 Beijing time.
Traffic:
At that time, because it was a poor tour, I chose to take a train from Nanning. I only bought a Jetstar flight ticket in the middle. Ho Chi Minh flew in Hanoi. At other times, I chose the coach.
Nanning round-trip train ticket train more than 200 one-way need to book in advance, the purchase price will be about 20 yuan more than the actual price.
Itinerary:
We all the way south from Nanning - Hanoi - Hoi An - Nha Trang - Datun - Mui Ne - Saigon - Hanoi - Nanning / hh / Hanoi Ha Noi Hoan Kiem Lake, St. Joseph's Cathedral / hh / Hoi An Hoi An Hoi An Ancient Town, Meisen Valley Day Tour
Nha Trang Nha Trang Cham Tower, Catholic Church
Da Lat Chunxiang Lake, Crazy House, Railway Station
Minai Mui Ne Small Fishing Village, Fairy Stream, Desert Sunrise / hh / Saigon Sai Gon Saigon Church of the Virgin Mary, Ho Chi Minh City Central Post Office, Reunification Palace / hh / each city have been waiting for 2.3 days, the trip is very relaxed, the most favorite is Hoi An, Da and Mui Ne.
The night view of Hoi An is super like, and in July is the flowering phoenix wood everywhere.
Minami's desert sunrise must be seen, really beautiful.
The seafood barbecue at the beach is super cheap, 100 yuan to eat.
's crazy house is super like, next time you must choose the B&B next to Xuanxiang Lake for a few days.
About accommodation:
There was not much experience at the time, accommodation was basically found in the local area, wasting a lot of time, the average price is more than one hundred nights. Now travel advice is booked online.
About diet:
Almost every meal is fried rice, French bacon, Vietnamese powder, super love ice coffee and fresh coconut. It was really easy to satisfy at that time, and the average price per meal was only 20 yuan.
There are four girls, one of whom is my good friend @, who also loves taking pictures. At that time, we didn't like to apply lipstick.
The photo now seems to be a bit scum, but I felt so fond of it at the time. It was a 15-day trip that didnt feel tired. I was worried that I would meet the Vietnamese speeding party. At that time, it was also very earthy, but those Memory is really worth cherishing.
Where is your graduation trip going?

On April 15, 2019, the world was stunned to learn fire had ravaged Notre-Dame Cathedral in the heart of Paris. In a matter of hours, centuries of history that had survived revolution, two world wars, and natural disasters was swept from existence. It is with heavy heart we mourn the loss of these cultural treasures.
