#thegatesofdawn is one of the most visited shrines in #vilnius that is famous not only in $Lithuania but also abroad, worshipped by the representatives of other creeds too.
This is the only surviving gate of the first original five gates in the city wall that was built between 1503 and 1522.
The painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy, in the Chapel of the Gates of Dawn is known all over the world. The picture, which is also called “Vilnius Madonna”, was painted in 17th century. It is painted in the Renaissance style, in tempera on oak boards, later repainted in oil.

It's a bit average, I don't think Vilnius is fun
When you come to the quiet and cozy Old Town, you must go to Vilnius Old Town to experience the humanities and customs of the Baltic Sea. Tips: 1. The price is cheap, only two euros a box of blueberries 2. The locals are warm and helpful, most of them are very friendly 3. The mall is open until 11 o'clock at the latest 4. Go to Uzupis to get a passport stamp 5. It is recommended to visit the month, From 6 to 7 moon points, the buildings here maintain the European-style medieval architectural style. However, after observing Shenzhen, it seems to feel a little trace of Soviet culture. The surrounding area is mixed with some modern elements, which gives this old city some uniqueness. The charm. The temperature here is mild throughout the year, and the local people live a leisurely and comfortable life. It is a typical retirement city, but I still want to complain about it. The work efficiency of the police here is a bit too low, and it takes a long time to do something. The town is very quiet and beautiful. Public security is also relatively good. There are some shops near the old city, so they are not as gorgeous and new as the new city, but they are cheap and cost-effective, and they can withstand the test of time. When you walk into a store, you can feel the enthusiasm of the local people, and the taste is not bad. It is very pleasant to eat and shop along the way. There is also a Gejimina Mountain near the old city, which is the high viewing platform of the entire city, and you can also take a hot air balloon there.
