The flamingos that gather on the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean west of Namibia are a unique sight. There is a coastal shoal in the Whale Bay Port, covering an area of over 7,000 hectares. It is famous for its many seabirds and waterfowls. In particular, three-quarters of the flamingos in southern Africa live on this shoal, with a total of about 50,000. When the flamingo wings are open, they are red and fire. When they are flying in the sun, they can reflect the red sky. When the flamingo gathers its wings, the plumage is white and snowy.
