We went to enjoy the 'Christmas Experience at Eckley Miners Village". Kind of underwhelming. The only thing "Christmasy" was the hot cocoa and cookied (for sale) at the very end of the mile long road....

Well preserved village.
Worth the trip. The museum focuses on the life of the residents, not coal production. Consequently visitors get a feel of real life back then.
