About Wencheng: Wencheng County is located to the southwest of Wenzhou City in the southern mountains of Zhejiang Province. It is named after Ming dynasty founding father Liu Ji (1311-1375), whose posthumous name is “Wencheng.” Tonglingshan (“Bronze Bell Mountain”) National Forest Park has a topography of dramatic rises and falls and is rich in flora and fauna. Major sights in the park include the Tongling Mountain Gorge and Xiaoyao (“Little Jade”) Pool. There is also the famous cultural site of Li Ji’s hometown, where you can learn more about the history of this famous Ming dynasty founder.
