Taizhou Museum

Taizhou Museum is divided into four floors. Each pavilion has a viewing point, which is free to open, and you can also make an appointment at the door). 1F is the exhibition hall. Now the exhibition is: Dinosaur Mummy Exhibition. 2F, 3F Basic display. They are: Mountain and Sea Soul - Taizhou History and Culture Exhibition; Land sentiment - Taizhou folk customs display in the cultural geography field of vision. 4F is a special collection of folk collections. Now on display is the Song Dynasty artifacts exhibition.

To understand a city, you can start from the museum first, close at 4:30 in the afternoon, stop entering the museum at 4 o'clock, the exhibition hall opens three floors, the third floor of the crafts are very good, the road around the museum can be free parking, but you have to take a chance. After a few laps, I almost didn't have time to enter the museum.

[Fun] [Scenery] The "Mountain Soul and Sea Soul" History Hall is divided into four chapters on the banks of the Lingjiang River, Zhang'an Ancient Port, Tiantai Prefecture, and Chicheng Chaoyong. It is mainly based on the collections of Lingjiang fossils 100,000 years ago, and the Neolithic stone, bronze, pottery and other objects unearthed in Taizhou. Combining scene reproduction and multimedia means, tell the history and culture story of Taizhou 9,000 years.

Very special local museum, you can go and see

I live in Taizhou and I go to this museum at least 1x every year. There’s a part where you walk through an Old Street which is really cool. Currently (July 2022) they have a dinosaur display with a mummified mammoth!

The museum is quite large, and there are many cultural relics in it.
