Really really awesome and beautiful views that I will never forget. There are some hikes, but overall good experience.
It is said that Whistler was originally regarded as a resort for many people because of the pure air and pleasant scenery, and that many tuberculosis patients gather here every summer to recuperate, while few tourists in winter. One hotel owner, who felt that winter was more beautiful than summer, promised an old customer who came every summer that if he came here for a holiday in winter, the owner would waive the summer rent. That's why Whistler's winter bustle began.
50 degrees north latitude 7 minutes 15 seconds, 122 degrees west longitude 57 minutes 16 seconds, 125 kilometers from Vancouver. Its Whistler Mountain (Whistler Mountain) and Blackcomb Mountain (Blackcomb Peak) are not only two major ski resorts in North America, but also international ski resorts. Whistler, a place name near Vancouver, covers an area of 161.72 square kilometers and has a population of 9824 (2011), is a world-renowned winter ski resort, and co-organized the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
A must see and bucket list visit. For skiiing or biking this mountain is one of my favorites. We snowboarded and mountain biked it and loved it all. Great place with lots of interesting people from all around the world.
Very worth visiting and learning place, very rewarding.
