Taronga Zoo Taronga Zoo
Located in the famous affluent area of Mosman, built by the sea, it is an excellent place to appreciate the scenery of Sydney Harbour, and the best place in the park is the Giraffe Park. Here you can see the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge in full view, and it is also one of the must-visit places for tourists in Sydney.
Taronga Zoo houses a variety of representative Australian animals such as koalas, kangaroos, wombats, platypuses, Tasmanian devils, emus, etc. There are also chimpanzees, penguins, otters, rhinos, seals, raccoons, lizards and reptiles. Various animals can be found here. The most attractive to tourists are the wonderful performances of cute animals at different times of the day. Here you can get close to the free-range kangaroos, but koalas can only be viewed from a distance. To take a photo with a koala, you need to make a reservation for a ticket before 14:30 after entering the park. The zoo also has different animal performances every day.
Taronga Zoo is located on a hill, with ups and downs in the form of a mountain. There is a cable car in the park. Tourists can choose to walk or take the cable car. Our booking was for Taronga Zoo and Return Ferry. Taronga Zoo is well worth a visit. There is an amazing variety of animals and interactive and educational keeper talks and shows and the views of Sydney from the Zoo are spectacular. Unfortunately the ferry crossings were extremely unreliable. Our 08.45am ferry arrived 15 minutes late to go to the Zoo and the 14.11pm returning journey failed to arrive. Our next scheduled ferry was at 4pm. At an additional fare we boarded the public ferry at 3pm
You can take a boat from the ring pier F4 and it takes ten minutes. You can go to the zoo on Bus238 when you leave the pier, and you can follow the brigade. It is cheaper to buy tickets through Trip.com. It happens to be a weekend, and the Opal card is also discounted. You can see the Opera House and Sydney Bridge by boat. The view from the Zoo View Opera House and the pier is excellent. If you take the Bus100 on the return trip, you can get to the Sydney Bridge and also see the street view of Sydney's north.
Still worth going, the zoo with the most beautiful sea view, directly looking at the Sydney Opera House, the animal experience is also very good, pure close contact, and no smell! ! This is amazing, no smell at all
I have been there a long time ago, and now I am traveling with a four-year-old baby, so this time I came to Sydney to visit my family and arranged a day to go shopping. When I bought a ticket, I saw a few comments, especially a Shanghai brother. It is a coincidence that I am also from Shanghai, and I often go to Shanghai Zoo (the one next to Hongqiao). If you think Shanghai Zoo is okay, then you must go to this. Because it is three-dimensional, this Shanghai Zoo is incomparable, and it is useless to be big. If you bring a child under ten years old, it will basically take more than three hours to run back and forth. . We went late, two hours my daughter only visited half, will miss my favorite wombat. . Zoo, this thing, with a baby is more than the ability to consume energy, not the area. . And Shanghai is a Pingdi Zoo, really not as good as this. By the way, when you go, you have to see the instructions. It is best if the cable car is in operation. . . When we went, the cable car was out of service and maintained, so miserable. . . I used to sit when I went alone.
Tickets bought on Trip.com are very convenient and the transportation is convenient. You can also take the ferry to arrive. You can return directly to the ring pier and you can see the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Koala baby is also very cute
We drove all the way, just to see the city view of Sydney, the residences around the zoo are also very beautiful. I bought tickets on Trip.com the day before. After parking in the parking lot, you can scan the QR code and enter the zoo. It is very convenient. When you enter the zoo, you will immediately get the map at the service desk. We will play according to the road with green circles. It is very smooth. I saw the cute koalas unique to Australia. Kangaroo, etc., very worth a visit. The return trip took the Harbour Bridge, 7 lanes, and the train, very grand.
Before the Spring Festival, I decided to go to the zoo temporarily, and I found that my wife was worth it. The zoo has a good blend of animals and the natural environment, and shows us a lot of things that are done by animal protection personnel, so that we can appreciate interesting animals and understand the importance of animal protection and environmental governance. The sea lion show was very interesting, and the zookeeper explained because the microphone and accent problems were not heard clearly.
