Dongting Street

Dongting Street, just behind the hotel I stayed in, chose this place because I wanted to see various buildings. There are still many European-style buildings left by the Concession era on both sides of the street. The most famous belongs to the Bagong House (net red attractions) in the original Russian concession (Xiangyang Street, Li Huangpi intersection), Russian patrol house (Li Huangpi intersection), Li Fannov Mansion, Russian Consulate, etc. It’s great to take a walk here.

Dongting Street is located in the most prosperous riverbank area of the city, and the whole street is3.8 kilometers away, because it was once the concession of the Anglo-Russian-French countries. Therefore, many European-style buildings from the Concession period are preserved, and these buildings have old buildings, packaging factories, mansions and residences, and the whole building complex is very well preserved.

This is the most historical street in Hankou. There are many old houses left in the era of the concession, always reminding people not to forget the national shame! This is also the most popular place for young people who like street shooting. There are several private restaurants that are also quite good!
