this place is a wonderful place to visit. its good to visit the place if u know abt it beforehand. though there are english speaking chinese guides. wiki will give some light abt the place. we went from fast train so from xian north station took a didi like a uber for 110 rmb . the ticket price is 120 and if you have a student card its half the price. the place is large enough to spend around 3 hours . there are three pits 3,2,1.. i started from third pit coz its the smallest one.. and the 2 and then 1 .. the 1 pit is the largest one but the excavation work is still goin on .. there are hundreds of statues.. the hard work is just magnificient.. the pictures which we take are not enough for to capture the feelings which we have when we look at those by naked eyes.. the place is a must to go place though a bit far from city.
Buck List Experience Getting to see this is amazing, and definitely worth the visit. The explanation around this whole experience is definitely worth it. Its a whole day affair and so pack snacks or just eat from the many stores they have once you exit. Taxi trip is around 150¥ for a single trip. You can also buy your tickets online which saves you from the queue. They have an awesome photography section so make sure u go get your picture done. Its about 100¥ or 150¥ and you can get your face done in a little cube which is also amazing.
easily reachable with the bus n 306 (7 RMB one way to buy on the bus). audio guides in Engl are bad (I think 40 RMB + 100 deposit). Most of the prebooked tickets are useless because you need to change it there. the place is amazing, and I recommend to start from Pit 3, then Pit 2 and finally Pit 1.
Really amazing place! it’s very exciting to be able to visit and active archaeological site. It can be a bit confusing to find the ticket area and entrance if you arrive on your own but it is easy to find cabs back to town. We went on a rainy day so I think there were less people which was nice. Highly recommend visiting this amazing historic site!
A must-see for any history buff! The three excavation pits and relics buildings are worth the crowds and waiting to get a good view. Still under excavation, it provides insight into China's preservation of heritage and culture. We did not have a guide, since signs had explanations in English.
This amazing site is a must when visiting Xian. Pictures dont justify the feeling you get when you seeing this amazing hitsory. i would def. recommend getting a tour guide before entering they will give you a private tour and all the info about this site. The English is great also.
Xi’an City is claimed to be on of the world’s great ancient cities, being famous for its role as a starting point for the Silk Road. This Unesco site is most likely on everyone’s bucket list. Situated only a few km outside of the city center, one can easily plan a day trip by making use of public transport for only 7¥. The park can get a little bit crowded so you might want to go early and capture beautiful photos before the crowds arrive. Tour guides are optional should you want to hear more about the history of this Unesco city.
UNESCO world heritage site, discovered by a group of farmer who were building a well, and discovered the site with those burial warriors. The museum is about an hour ride on the bus from Xi’An city, give yourself about 2 hours for the visit, as you do have to walk a little from the coach alighting park.
Being one of the UNESCO 8 wonders of the world puts this place at the top of my bucket list. Once I got there I can feel the deep history and how the Chinese government preserved it so well. It's an amazing site and full of historical artifacts from where they dig up the terracottas.
