Katherfield is a beautiful area on the edge of Manchester. The boats on the canal give people a good view and calm them down. There are many bars and restaurants here. It's very good in summer. You can take a boat from here to Old Trafford.
I wandered in there one morning and as I was admiring the Johnny Depp self portrait, a guy who was working there just happened to walk in. He proceeded to give the best introduction to art ( Johnny Depp, Bob Dylan and Billy Connolly) I could have hoped for.Must have been about 45 mins long - coffee included!Just Brilliant!So Grateful to you
