Macaojiang Ecological Park

Macaojiang Ecological Park is built by fully leveraging the original layout of the water bodies at the site. The park has thee gates in its eastern, western and northern sides, hosts several bridges (the Bridge of Straddling RainJinghubow, the Bridge of Lunar Reflections, etc.), and is crisscrossed with paths of different widths and lengths. The park also has several specially themed gardens built for different flower species, including peach blossoms, camellia, to name a few. Another feature of the place is its body of water. Water has been channeled from the two rivers flowering through the park, namely Macaojiang and Maweijiang, to form four lotus ponds lying in the north, south, east and west respectively, and the three lakes of Longhu (lake of dragon), Jinghu (lake of mirror), and Shihu (lake of stone), thereby furnishing the park with its delightful natural views.
